PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a router device capable of quickly detecting movement of a packet-communicatable radio terminal moving on a network and crossing a subnetwork. SOLUTION: The router device is arranged in a network storing a radio terminal 5 in a radio base station 4 and supports the mobile communication of the terminal 5. In this case, a foreign agent advertisement message is broadcasted to a subnetwork to which the router device itself belongs at a prescribed time interval and the time interval for broadcasting the foreign agent advertisement message is controlled so as to be set up to a time interval shorter than the prescribed time interval only for a fixed time based on a terminal movable message informed from the base station 4 set up in the subnetwork to which the device itself belongs.
