PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable material superior in the decolorizability of a dye in easy color development and free from an unnecessary residual dye component at the time of reading image information and superior in color separation and sharpness after the long-time storage of the photosensitive material by incorporating a specified dye decolorizable by reaction with a decolorizing agent at the time of heat treatment in a nonphotosensitive layer. SOLUTION: At least, one of nonphotosensitive layers among the constituent layers of the heat-developable photosensitive material contains the dye decolorizable by reaction with the decolorizing agent at the time of heat treatment. The nonphotosensitive layer contains silver as the decolorizer aid and one of the dyes represented by the formula in which R1 is an H atom or an alkyl, aryl, or heterocyclic group; R2 is an H atom or an alkyl, aryl, or heterocyclic group or the like; R3 is an H atom or a cyano, hydroxyl, carboxyl, alkyl, aryl, or CO2R4 group; R4 is an alkyl or aryl group or the like; R6 is an H atom or an alkyl group or the like; and each of L1-L3 is a methine group.
