The lamp has a lamp vessel (12), at least one light body (14) in the vessel, with at least one light body element (15) for generating radiation in the infrared and visible regions, and at least one filter (35a, 35b) reflective for infrared and transmissive for at least some visible wavelengths. The light body element(s) is flat, esp. strip-shaped, and can be made of a single layer. An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an incandescent lamp.
