The invention concerns a system comprising: a remote controlled apparatus provided with a screen or adapted to be connected to a display device; a remote control device comprising a microphone; voice recognition means adapted to receive the signal coming from the microphone and to generate a signal controlling a function of the apparatus corresponding to the word or group of words picked up by the microphone. The invention is characterised in that the system comprises means for displaying a list of words or groups of words corresponding to the functions of the apparatus accessible by voice control in a window (31) of the screen enabling the user to now the key-words which he must speak out to trigger said functions.
