<p>A vehicle pedal and seat adjustment system comprises pedals (4) and seat (2) which are adjustable between forward-most and rearward-most positions. An air bag (8) is located in front of the seat (2). The forward-most position of the seat (2) is defined as a position of the seat (2) in which a distance between an occupant in the seat (2) and the air bag (8) is equal to a minimum safe distance. This system prevents the air bag (8) from injuring the occupant, while allowing the occupant to comfortably operate the pedal (4).</p> |
