PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid brackets from lowering impact absorbing performance at collision, in an automobile provided with the brackets for supporting a stabilizer on the front end of a subframe fitted to the sideframes of a main frame. SOLUTION: Left and right a pair of brackets 24 are projectingly provided facing front on the front end face of a subframe 13 fixed to the front parts of left and right sideframes LL, LR extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, and a stabilizer 23 of which both ends are connected to left and right suspension arms 20L, 20R, is supported with the upper faces of the brackets 24. Because vertically penetrating openings 29 are formed on the rear parts of the brackets 24 and the axes L of the brackets 24 slant left and right relative to the longitudinal direction of the body, when a load due to collision is applied from the front side, the brackets 24 easily buckle. Hereby, collapse of the sideframes 1, 1 is avoided from being obstructed by the brackets 24, and hence the peak value of deceleration generated at collision can be lowered.
