PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually confirm a screwed state while holding rigidity by a connecting nut having a simple construction by penetrating visual observation holes crossing female screw holes, which are perforated from both sides of a long rod to a vicinity of a center of the rod body, from one side surface of the long rod and reaching to another side surface. SOLUTION: In this connecting nut 1, female screw holes are perforated from both sides of a long rod having a section of a hexagon to a vicinity of a center of the rod body, and visual observation holes 4, 5 are penetrated crossing the female screw holes from one side surface of the long rod and reaching to another side surface. A predetermined length in a male screw 8 of an anchor bolt 7 is screwed via a washer to one of the female screws of the connecting nut 1 while confirming a screwed state by the visual observation hole 4 and is fixed. Next, a predetermined length in a male screw 11 of a ring bolt 10 is screwed to the other female screw while confirming a screwed state by the visual observation hole 5. Lastly, a tightening nut 12 previously screwed to the ring bolt 10 is rotated in a direction of the connecting nut 1 to be tightened.
