PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an execution property by arranging forms below a truss provided on an opening section at the upper section of an underground tank and placing concrete in the forms to form a roof. SOLUTION: An underground continuous wall is formed in a hole excavated in the ground 1, then a base plate and a side wall are constructed to form an underground section 2A. A tower-like central structure 20 is erected at the center of the base plate, and a dome-like truss 21 is assembled with its center supported by the structure 20. Upper forms 23 and lower forms 24 having a relatively fine width and provided with partition plates on both sides are fitted to the lower section of the truss 21 by separator/form suspending metal fittings 25. Concrete is placed to form an arch-like roof element assembly, and roof element assemblies are likewise formed adjacently in sequence to construct a roof. After the forms 23, 24 and the metal fittings 25 are removed, a work hole is provided at the center of the roof, the structure 20 is removed, the work hole is closed with a cover body after the truss 21 is removed, and a soil cover layer is provided on the roof. The truss 21 can be easily removed, the construction period can be shortened, and the cost can be reduced.
