PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive hand paper bag wherein an article received in the paper bag can be held in a stable posture, the bag may not deform even when the paper bag is mounted on a floor or the like, and a posture of the article can be kept by sticking respective lower ends at both front and rear walls of the paper bag to each other to be closed in a chevron-shaped cross section. SOLUTION: A paper bag body 1 is formed of a bag mouth 3 opening upward, a pair of gussets 7 folded inward on sides and a closed part 4 comprising a front wall lower end 5a and a rear wall lower end 6a which are folded at a lower part to be integrally stuck. In addition, a pair of handles 1 are extended upward from the inside of the bag mouth 3. When the handles 3 are held and the paper bag body 1 is carried, force directing inward occurs on a front wall 5 and a rear wall 6 with the closed part 4 as an axis, whereby a received object 12 inside can be strongly held and a stable posture can be kept without bending. Further, the bag mouth 3 is formed with difference in height at each upper rim of the front wall 5, the rear wall 6 and the gussets 7 coupling them, and notches 31 for preventing a hand from being cut are provided along the bag mouth.
