REMOVAL OF WEED IN TURF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To leave most of stems and roots of turf and cut down only weeds according to a mechanical method. SOLUTION: Both lateral faces of an inverted U-shaped frame are supported with four wheels and movable and a rotating blade driving unit part C is arranged on the inside. Rotating blades J and K in the shape of a T-shaped flying toy made of bamboo are fixed to two sets of rotating output shafts G and H with an angle shifted at 90 deg. so as not to overlap and mutually interfere. Thereby, the rotating blade tips are regulated with a screw part for regulating the depth so as to maintain a prescribed height below the ground surface of turf in contact with the wheels. The blades J and K are rotated at about 10 m/s peripheral speed of the rotating blade tips and moved at about 5 m/min speed at right angles from the rotating and moving directions of the blade tips to thereby create a useless state as beating the air in turf and remove only weeds in the turf.
