PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated building having less displacement quantity at a lower end part of an extended elevator shaft caused by shaking at the time of an earthquake of a base-isolated building body supported on a base building body by a base isolation device. SOLUTION: A base isolated building body is supported on a base building body 1 by a base isolation device, an extended base isolation body 14 is composed integrally with the base isolated building body to be protruded downward, and a cavity is formed in a vertical shaft 4 in the base building body 1 to be engaged. A landing hall 15 to be connected to a floor 7 is provided in the extended base isolation body 14 to correspond to an extended elevator shaft 5 communicated with an elevator shaft 6 in the base isolation building body and the floor 7 in the base building body 1. The extended base isolation body 14 having a high rigidity can thus be easily provided at a less cost, displacement quantity at a lower end part of the extended base isolation body 14 at the time of an earthquake is reduced, and the cavity in the vertical shaft 4 to the extended base isolation body 14 can be reduced, thereby a flat space efficiency of this base isolation building can be improved.
