摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new gene having specific nucleotide sequences, representing an alternative splicing of a human D2 dopamine receptor gene- transcribed product to the mRNA complementary to the DNA, therefore useful for e.g. producing the above receptor used e.g. in medicaments. SOLUTION: This new DNA molecule (gene) is such one as to be either DNA molecule having sequences 1-723 and 811 to 1329 in the human DNA sequence corresponding to that deficient in nucleotide sequence 724-810 from the nucleotide sequence 1 to 1329 of the human DNA sequence of the formula and representing an alternative splicing of a human D2 dopamine receptor gene- transcribed product to the mRNA complementary to the above DNA, DNA molecule having the DNA sequence complementary thereto, or DNA molecule having a DNA sequence hybridizable with the above DNA molecule under highly strict conditions, therefore being useful for e.g. producing a human D2 dopamine receptor. This new DNA molecule is obtained by screening a library containing the dopamine receptor DNA sequence with a probe.
