PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically eject a residual sheet to a place different from that for a discharged normally recorded sheet when a sheet remaining inside an image recording device body or an optional device inside is automatically removed and discharged. SOLUTION: A recorded sheet, on which an image is recorded by means of an image recording means, is diverted by means of a paper ejecting flapper 211 so as to be discharged to one of a plurality of ejection ports 212, 259. If a sheet is left in the middle of image recording because of a certain reason, an ejection port different from the normal sheet ejection port is selected by means of the ejecting flapper 211, and then, the remaining sheet is discharged. In this way, a problem caused by a remaining sheet mixed with a normally discharged sheet can be prevented. |
