PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily detecting a gene in high sensitivity and a device therefor. SOLUTION: This gene detector confirms the presence of the objective gene by immobilizing a single-strand nucleic acid probe having a base sequence complemental to the objective gene to be detected on the surface of an electrode, reacting with a specimen containing a gene denatured to a single-strand, bonding a double-strand recognizer with the nucleic acid probe hybridized with the gene and detecting the resultant hybrid with an electrochemical measurement and is composed of a gene detecting sensor in which a nucleic acid probe on a sensor electrode 7 having an electrode pattern and a sample holding vessel having a taper hole made of a resin, and has a mechanism adhering them. |
