PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition with improved moldability and crystallinity as a polyester. SOLUTION: There is provided a resin composition comprising a polyester and a semiaromatic polyether imide constituted of a recurring unit represented by the formula (wherein Ar is a 6-15C aromatic group; R is a 2-20C divalent aliphatic group; and n is an integer of 2-3), the semiaromatic polyether imide component and the polyester component constituting 0.05-95 pts.wt. and 5-99.95 pts.wt., respectively, based on 100 pts.wt. of the resin composition.
