PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article feeding device devised to wholly evenly and uniformly feed articles to an article storage box at the time of feeding the articles carried by a carrier device to the article storage box. SOLUTION: This article carrier device 5 is furnished with a pan 22 the shape of a cross-section of which is a gutter type, the downstream side in the article carrying direction D of a carrier device 4 opens so as to feed articles to an article storage box 7 in the downstream in the article carrying direction D by receiving the articles carried by the carrier device 4 in the upstream in the article carrying direction D and a hydraulic pressure cylinder 23 to retreat the pan 22 advancing to a specified position in the opposite direction of the article carrying direction D at higher speed than speed at the time of advancing by advancing the pan 22 in the article carrying direction D at speed corresponding to carrier speed of the carrier device 4.
