PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a storage box with a small amount of a paper base to be used for a blank wherein manufacture is easy, and the box is excellent in durability at a cutter part and in appearance and handlability by sticking a cover piece to a storage box body for integration. SOLUTION: A cover piece is stuck across an upper lid 15 and a cut board 16 of a storage box body. Thus a cutter part 17 is prevented from being exposed outside, while the cut board 16 is integral with a reinforcing board 23 of the cover piece so that it is reinforced. When the storage box is to be unsealed for use, first, an end of a protection board 22 is held, and the protection board 22 is removed by pulling it along a cut line A. As a result, the upper lid 15 can rotate with a crease (c) as the center to allow an opening to be opened/ closed. In addition, the cut board 16 is integral with a reinforcing board 23 so that it can be in contact with/separate from a front board 13 according to a rotation of the upper lid 15. A long object is pulled out from a roll R by a predetermined length and brought into contact with the cutter part 17, and the long object is pulled upward thereby cutting the object.
