PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device without requiring supply of external energy, and without requiring a drive regulation means, in which a load support device can be operated at site. SOLUTION: Protrusions 3 to be engaged with a load support device 8 are provided in a side surface part of a container, a load arm 6 of a lift device is applied to each side surface part, the load support device 8 is installed at a lower end of a rotary arm 7, the other end part of the rotary arm 7 is connected to the load arm 6 to be rotatable around a shaft to enable the load support device 8 to be movable between a horizontal position parallel to the protrusion 3 and a position under the protrusion 3, and the load support device 8 is rotated from a first position in a vertical direction within a cross section range of the protrusion 3 to a second position outside the cross section range through the protrusion 3 by downward motion of the load arm 6. A switching member is disposed on the rotary arm 7 above the load support device 8. By upward motion of the load arm 6, the switching member reaches a position to cover the load support device 8 and be guided around the protrusion 3 on the outer side through the protrusion 3.
