PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sports shoes which inhibit pronation and sapination. SOLUTION: This sports shoes include an upper 3 for wrapping the instep of a foot, an outer sole 4 having the tread on the outer surface, and a mid-sole 1 interposed between the upper 3 and the outer sole 4. A shock absorbing groove 2 is formed in the mid-sole 1, and formed by connecting a long side groove 20 and a short laternal groove 21 to each other. The side groove 20 is formed in the mid-sole 1 extending from the side of the rear foot part of the mid-sole 1 on the outside of the foot to the back of the heel part of the mid-sole, and a heel part 1H is provided with its end part 22. The laternal groove 21 is formed to be cut out extending from the lower end face of the heel part 1H of the mid-sole 1 to the end part 22 of the side groove 20.
