PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce exhaust resistance of a particulate trap except when particulate is wiped off using a brush. SOLUTION: Provided are a particulate trap 1 and a brush portion 5b which abuts against the surface 1a at exhaust upstream flow of the particulate trap for wiping off the particulate. The brush portion is moveable between the abutted position and the non-abutment position on the surface at the exhaust upstream surface.
