PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging tool which makes packaging operation easier and can perform packaging in a remarkably efficient manner, and also provide a package for which a packaging material can be easily taken off stepwise and which is made convenient for use. SOLUTION: This packaging tool made of a heat-shrinkable film is used for packaging a rodlike body to be packaged and comprises a cylindrical portion 11 for covering an outer circumference of the body 1 at the time of th heat shrinkage of the film and a gripping margin portion 12 projecting from the cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion forms first cut-off parts 13, each encircling the cylindrical portion along the circumferential direction thereof, and a second cut-off part 14 extending linearly along the lengthwise direction of the cylindrical portion, respectivley. The gripping margin portion forms cut parts 15, each reaching the corresponding first cut-off part from the edge of the gripping margin portion. Each portion where the first and the second cut-off parts are formed has a lower strength than that at other portions. |
