POWDER FEEDING DEVICE AND POWDER FEEDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder feeding method capable of feeding powder from a powder feeding facility to a powder receiving facility without causing scattering of powder and a powder feeding device to be used for it. SOLUTION: Powder 1 is fed to a powder receiving facility 2 from a powder storage hopper 4a by cutting off communication of the powder receiving facility 2 and a vacuum suction line 7 and communicating the powder storage hopper 4a and the powder receiving facility 2 to each other after connecting the powder receiving facility 2 to which the powder 1 is fed and the powder storage hopper 4a constituting a part of a powder feeding facility 4 to each other free to communicate and cut off by using a passage member 6 for connection, vacuum- sucking the powder 1 by connecting the vacuum suction line 7 furnished with a gas and solid separation means 8 to the passage member 6 for connection free to communicate and cut off and communicating the powder receiving facility 2 and the vacuum suction line 7 to each other in a state where communication of the powder storage hopper 4a and the powder receiving facility 2 is cut off and making the inside of the powder receiving facility 2 specified negative pressure.
