PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a drain hose by making a cover means hinder direct hitting of high temperature steam generated during the cooking of rice to the undersurface of the drain hose to prevent the deformation, burning or the like of the drain hose and also achieve a higher convenience in maintenance by allowing releasing of a communication side part of a drain pipe when the cover means is removed to judge the presence of abnormality such as deformation or damage with the drain hose mounted. SOLUTION: In a rice washing/cooking apparatus which is provided with a washer for washing rice and a rice cooking device which receives rice to be delivered from the washer and water for cooking rice to cook the rice, a box 16 which can receive and drain foul water generated during the washing is provided at a lower part of the washer 2 and made to communicate with a drain hose 1 to guide the foul water to be discharged from the box 16 to the drain side. A cover means is provided between the drain hose 1 on the communication side and the rice cooking device to cover the undersurface of the drain hose and a part of the cover means is detachably mounted on the box 16.
