PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniform heating apparatus for a roastor which simplifies the layout and the structure of a burner and a red heat plate. SOLUTION: A burner 17 is arranged to be an inward flame hole burner and the central part of a radiation plate 26 with the area thereof almost the same as that of a flame hole 23 of the burner 17 forms a protective surface 34 while a number of hot gas passage holes 36... are arranged besides the central part and an outer circumferential rim part of the radiation plate 26 is bent downward to provide a rising part 39. Numerous hot gas passage holes 40... are arranged at the rising part 39 so that a flame is fluidized further to the rising part 39 of the outer circumferential rim part of the radiation plate 26. Thus, the central part, the peripheral part and the outer circumferential rim part of the radiation plate 26 are heated as well thereby causing a uniform red heating of the whole.
