PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating roll detaching jig capable of simply replacing a coating roll coated with a coating material without using waste or the like. SOLUTION: In a coating roll detaching jig 6 used in a coating device wherein a main body part is constituted of an almost 7-shaped bent lever and the horizontal part of this bent part comprises a coating roll freely detachable part and the almost vertical part thereof comprises a handle part, a vertical plate 8 is fixed to the leading part of a grasping part 7 and the engaging part 9 with the coating roll freely detachable part is formed to the leading end side part of the vertical plate 8 and the engaging part 10 with the handle part is disposed to the linear rear proper position of the engaging part 9.
