PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the center pillar reinforced structure of an automobile which can obtain a stable bending more in side impact without increasing the number of part items. SOLUTION: In the center pillar reinforced structure of an automobile constituted so that a pillar reinforcement 12 is arranged between the pillar outer 10a and the pillar inner 10b of a center pillar 10 extending in the vertical direction of a vehicle body and forming the rear edge of a front door opening 2a, the pillar reinforcement 12 is formed out of a differential thickness combined steel plate composed of a thick plate t1 on the upper side in the lengthwise direction and a thin plate t2 on the lower side thinner than the thick plate 11, and the combined parts (t) are positioned on the lower places than a belt line L, and the rear end 5b of an impact beam 5 arranged facing to the longitudinal direction of the body in the front door is positioned near the combined parts (t).
