PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster with a stopper having stable and simple operatability. SOLUTION: A stopper member 40 vertically displaceable with respect to a caster main body member 12 provided turnably relating to a mounting shaft 20 for attaching a caster 10 with a stopper to a furnitures of an attached body or the like is arranged just under the shaft 20 to prevent swinging of the member 12 for holding a rolling wheel 14 when the stopper member 40 is displaced vertically, and action force converting mechanisms 12d, 18, 55, 58 to apply only vertical displacement force to the stopper member 40 in response to operation of an operation lever 30 are built in an operation mechanism having the operation lever 30 for displacing the member 40 vertically to fix and release the caster 10. The caster with the stopper is composed by this manner.
