摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming the spacers for multi-layered glass for heat insulation, capable of easily forming the spacers whose glass plate-supporting surfaces are smooth and which have a uniform height, to provide a device therefor, and to provide the easily handleable multi-layered glass for heat insulation at a low cost. SOLUTION: This method for forming the spacers for multi-layered glass for heat insulation comprises making a printing intaglio 1 having depressions 2 corresponding to the shape and arrangement of the spacers 10, filling the depressions 2 of the printing intaglio with a pasty spacer material 4, tightly bringing the printing intaglio into contact with the spacer-forming surface of the glass plate 5, hardening the filled spacer material 4, and subsequently separating the printing intaglio 1 from the glass plate 5 to transfer the hardened spacer material 4 to the glass plate 5. Thereby, the application of the intaglio printing technology enables the relatively easy printing formation of the fine spacers 10 on the glass plate 5. The top portions of the spacers 10 formed on the glass plate 5 are not round, and the spacer material 4 does not have a sharp thread-like shape. The formed spacers have a uniform height and smooth surfaces for supporting the glass plate 5.
