PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high tensile strength bolt and an electric torque wrench used for it, generating no industrial waste after fastening. SOLUTION: A projecting part formed at a pin tail 2 of a high tensile strength bolt 1 is plastically deformed at a prescribed torque. This electric torque wrench 10 is provided with a motor 20 that rotationally drives a fastening part 11 for fastening the high tensile strength bolt 1, and a current controller 30 having an internal switch that cuts off current supply to the motor 20 when a current value to the motor 20 reaches a prescribed value.
