PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace capable of easily adjusting the crossing angle of structural members. SOLUTION: A brace 10, comprising a brace main body 1 made of a hollow cylindrical body having threaded parts 16a, 16b at both ends threaded in different directions, and provided with a handle 12 on a part of its outer periphery, locking fittings 15 attached to crossing structural members 30, 20 in such a way that the brace main body 11 can freely swing, and connecting bars 13a, 13b connecting the brace main body 11 to the locking fittings 15, is diagonally extended between the crossing structural members 30, 20. In that case, the brace 10 is allowed to freely expand and contract in the direction of its axis by joining the brace main body 11 to the connecting bars 13a, 13b by means of the threads.
