FIELD: repair production. SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of strengthening sheet with rounded edges and holes at place of deformation. Sheet width exceeds that of lower boom. The method also includes welding of sheet to lower boom and auxiliary connection of sheet to lower boom by means of connecting members in the form of bushings which are positioned in sheet holes and welded round to both lower boom surface inside bushing and sheet surface outside bushing.
