PURPOSE: A dielectric ceramic composition and a ceramic capacitor having an inner electrode layer being made of Ni are provided which can be minimized in the size, increased in the capacitance, and reduced in the cost of production. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric ceramic is disclosed which comprises:100 parts by weight of essential component represented by (Ba1-xCaxO)mTiO2 + alphaRe2O3 + betaMgO + gammaMnO(Re2O3 are one or more selected from Y2O3, Gd2O3, Tb2O3, Dy2O3, Ho2O3, Eu2O3, and Yb2O3; alpha, beta, gamma, m and x are mdar ratio wherein alpha is from 0.001 to 0.10, beta is from 0.001 to 0.12 gamma is from 0.001 to 0.12 m is from 1.000 to 1.035 and X is from 0.005 to 0.22 containing less than 0.02 wt.% of alkali metal oxide as an impurity and 0.2-5.0 wt.% of any one of a primary component and a secondary component in which the primary component is Li2O-(Si, Ti)O2-MO oxide(MO represents at least one of Al2O3 and ZrO3) and the secondary component is Si-TiO2-XO oxide(XO represents at least one of BaO, CaO, SrO, MgO, ZnO, and MnO), Also disclosed is a laminated ceramic capacitor made therefrom.
