PURPOSE: A hydroxylation polybutadiene based polyurethane adhesive catalyzed by N-substituted imidazole derivatives is provided which does not generate environmental and ecosystem problems, permits extended pot life and quick setting and maintains its catalytic activity during extended storage. CONSTITUTION: The polyurethane adhesive comprises an A part and a B part, which cross-link by the rising profile of specified viscosity, a catalytic system being usually existence in the A part but the catalytic system being existence in the B part according to another modification. The A part comprises 5-99.99 wt.%(preferably 10-50 wt.%) of one or more polyols, 0-50 wt.%(preferably 10-50 wt.%) of one or more plasticizers, 0-90 wt.%(preferably 40-90 wt.%) of one or more inorganic fillers, 0-20 wt.%(preferably 0-10 wt.%) of one or more of molecular sieve-type dehydrating agents, 0-5 wt.%(preferably 0-1 wt.%) of one or more resins, 0-5 wt.%(preferably 0-1 wt.%) of one or more UV stabilizing agents and/or antioxidants, and 0.01-1 wt.%(preferably 0-1 wt.%) of catalytic system and the B part comprises 5-100 wt.%(preferably 20-40 wt.%) of one or more polyisocyanates, 0-80 wt.%(preferably 20-60 wt.%) of one or more plasticizers, 0-80 wt.%(preferably 5-40 wt.%) of one or more inorganic fillers, 0-20 wt.%(preferably 0-10 wt.%) of one or more of molecular sieve-type dehydrating agents, and 0-50 wt.%(preferably 10-30 wt.%) of one or more adhesion accelerators.
