PURPOSE: A wireless receiver and controllable amplifier circuit are provided to reduce power consumption. CONSTITUTION: The wireless receiver comprises a controllable circuit(7) and an amplifier circuit(7). The amplifier circuit(7) comprises two amplifier elements(59, 67) having an input electrode(57) and a voltage divider connected to the input electrode(57) and having two impedances(3, 65) and control element(49). The amplifier circuit(7) amplifies a plurality of signals having frequency of 200KHz. The control element(49) has PIN diode(49). The wireless receiver makes the PIN diode(49) to operate in reverse and forward direction.
