The adjustment for a lens with an axially movable optical element joined to the main setting (1) of the lens by means of a slide setting (5) incorporates a threaded guide between the slide setting and a threaded ring (2) joined to the main setting. The threaded guide is in the form of an almost rectangular thread. The slide setting is positioned inside the main setting. The threaded ring engages with a threaded part (8) of the slide setting by means of an inner cogging (10). The optical element is radially guided by the slide setting's outer periphery partially (7) resting against the inner periphery of the main setting.
