The electronic circuit module has a plastics housing (4.1,4.2) provided with an earth connection to a metallic component via a metal chassis with a ring lug fitted centrally through the electronic circuit board (2). The ring lug has a cylindrical outer surface and the same height as the plastics housing for extending between its opposing surfaces, the arms (1.2) of the chassis coupled to conductor paths and earth surfaces of the circuit board via solder pins, the voltage and/or signal terminals (3) contained within the outer contour of the housing, with an earth terminal (1.3) provided directly by the chassis.
