The vehicle end region has multi-link hinges (8) with covers (18) taking part in the movements of the upper connecting rod (20). With the lid closed, together with the hinges, they are recessed in the intermediate space between the bodywork side walls (1) and the inner cladding (15). Not being in the gutters (9), the hinges leave enough room for the covers.
