<p>The invention provides a novel protein, PX3.101, which can be isolated from honey bee venom, antibodies against the polypeptide and nucleic acids encoding PX3.101 and fragments thereof. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions based upon PX3.101 polypeptide and methods for using same in the treatment of various diseases, including various inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.</p> |
