Method and apparatus for bringing about beneficial effects on the human body through the combined and co-ordinated action of aromas, sounds and colours. A bathtub (10) and a shower column (11) are provided with means (17) for adding aromatic substances to the water, means (18) for generating coloured light beams, and means (22) for diffusing music sounds.
