<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing unit where aberration resulting from a photographing lens in an image that is photographed optically is manually corrected uniformly and properly, independently of experience of the operator, and to efficiently obtain an excellent print in the case of obtaining an image for a print-out. SOLUTION: A processed image resulting from applying prescribed processing to an image that has been optically photographed is displayed on a monitor, part of the processed image is designated on a monitor to decide a designated area depending on a state of aberration resulting from a photographing lens for the processed image, a correction value required to correct the aberration is decided based on information of image data in the designated area and the aberration of the image data is corrected based on the correction value and the corrected image data are outputted.</p> |
