摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of a short circuit with an electrode and increase the application area of an active material by pinching in the respective edge parts of a positive and negative electrodes projecting to both ends of the winding axis of a power generation element in the nearest pinch holding parts of current collecting parts so as to connect and fix them. SOLUTION: A negative electrode current collector 2 is mounted on the upper end part of a power generation element 1, the edge parts of each of plural sheets of a negative electrode 1a are pinched in the gap of each catching part 2c of a current collecting part 2a. Two sheets of a copper plate on both sides of each of the catching parts 2c are crimped together, so that each part having exposed copper foil of the edge parts of the negative electrode 1a which are pinched in the catching part 2c is connected and fixed to the corresponding current collecting part 2a by performing ultrasonic welding. Similarly for a positive electrode collector, each part having exposed Al foil of the edge parts of every plurally gathered sheets of a positive electrode 1b is caught and crimped in the gap of the pinch holding part of another current collecting part, and connected and fixed by means of ultrasonic welding. Thereby, in the case of the negative electrode 1a, for instance, the multiple pinch holding parts 2c are connected together through flat plate parts 2d, and the flat plate parts 2d will not protrude into the inside of the power generation element 1.
