PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly reliable video equipment for not only dissolving the conventional defect that a using method is complicated and difficult but also substantially lowering the probability of the input error of a command by selecting a control command and selecting a video image or a title by voice input. SOLUTION: Voice signals for control inputted by a microphone 114 for a voice command are recognized by a voice recognition engine 115, the control command for controlling a device to be controlled is selected from the recognized voice signals for the control by a dictionary file 116 for voice recognition and the device to be controlled is controlled by a controller 107 by the selected control command. Also, the dictionary file 116 for the voice recognition is turned to a hierarchical structure and the control command is hierarchically selected.
