PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain cleaning so that the residue of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) contained in reclaimed oil adhered to a transformer case can be a processing reference value or less. SOLUTION: A whole on-pillar transformer case 3 to whose inside face insulating oil is adhered is dipped in cleaning agent 2 of hydrocarbon solvent. Then, the jet of the cleaning agent is generated inside the case, and the inside face of the case is cleaned until prescribed adhered oil quantity is obtained so that the residue of PCB contained in the insulating oil can be a reference value or less. In this case, the hydrocarbon solvent is used as the cleaning agent so that a cleaning power can be improved while safety for a human body or an environment can be improved. Then, the whole case is dipped in the cleaning agent 2, and the jet of the cleaning agent 2 is generated inside the case so that the cleaning power of the insulating oil (reclaimed oil) adhered to the inside face of the case can be further improved.
