PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the safety of a tombstone wall so as to effectively utilize the graveyard area. SOLUTION: A wall-surface installed type tombstone is made up of a rear plate stone 2 arranged along the surface on one side of a wall 1, a cinerarium part 3 formed below the front surface of the rear plate stone 2 so as to be projected forward, a pedestal part 4 arranged to the upper rear part of the cinerarium part 3 and along the front surface of the rear plate stone 2, and a pole stone arranged above the pedestal part 4 and along the front surface of the rear plate stone 2. The lower part of the rear plate stone 2 is fixed by the cinerarium part 3 or by the cinerarium part 3 and the wall 1, and the upper part of the rear plate stone 2 is fixed to the upper end of the wall 1.
