PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for cheek pads, capable of raising safety without impairing excellent wearing feeling of helmet. SOLUTION: A cushioning material 4 for raising the safety of a jet type helmet A is arranged between a cap body 1 and a fitting plate 3 attached deformably by compression to the inside of the cap body 1 so as to secure a cushioning function at the side of the cap body 1. Cheek pads 2 constituted in fixed thickness only of a cushioning material 22 are attached to the fitting plate 3.
