PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent circuit breaker capable of quickly and easily opening/closing an electric circuit, having high safety and precluding the possibility of losing a plug body. SOLUTION: This circuit breaker 10 has a plug box 20 having circuit terminals 21, 22 connected to the opening end of an electric circuit and a plug body 30 being arranged in the plug box 20 so as to be displaceable by a prescribed quantity, closing the electric circuit by fitting short circuit terminals 31, 32 to the circuit terminals 21, 22 to short-circuit and cutting off a circuit current by opening the electric circuit by separating these short circuit terminals 31, 32 from the circuit terminals 21, 22. The plug body 30 can be displaced to a regular locking position for fitting the short circuit terminals 31, 32 to the circuit terminals 21, 22 to the plug box 30 and a temporary locking position for separating the short circuit terminals 31, 32 from the circuit terminals 21, 22. |
