PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize picture noise in an imaging system that includes an X-ray source and a detector. SOLUTION: At least one of operation parameters of an imaging system 10 is determined, current regulation factors of X-ray source are prepared based on the determined imaging system parameters and current of the X-ray source is regulated using the current regulation factors of the X-ray source. In one embodiment, at least one of picture slice thickness, scan rotation time, collimation mode, table speed, scan mode and filtering mode is determined as the operation parameter. The operation parameter is determined by an operator through user interface included in a computer 36 of the system, and the computer memorizes the function determining the current regulating factor of the X-ray source in relation to the determined parameters. |
