PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently and precisely recognize code data from picture data of a two-dimensional code. SOLUTION: In this recognition processing method the picture data of a two-dimensional code picked up by a CCD video camera binarization processed at a step S2 and, next, has a black pixel coupling area decided at a step S3. Then, a logo mark cell part responsible for presentation of a reference of recognition processing and readable information at the same time is detected at a step S10. Corner cells within a specified search range with a logo mark cell part as a reference are detected at a step S12 and code data of the two-dimensional code existing in an area of a code part surrounded by the corner cells is detected. At a step S14, the code data of the detected code data are verified. |
