PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaner that can dissolve and remove a cured acrylic resin without dropping out a bundle of bristles from a handle of a brush by constituting the cleaner of a specified aliphatic compound containing Cl or F. SOLUTION: A cleaner is constituted of one or more of 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3 pentafluoropropane(ClCF2CF2CHClF),1,1-dichloro-2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropr opane(CF3 CF2CHCl2) and 1,1,2-tricholoro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane(CCl2FCClF2). The cleaner selectively dissolves a room temp. polymerizable acrylic resin such as a temporary filling material, a restorative material for an artificial denture or the like comprising a dental acrylic resin fixed to a bundle of bristles of a dental brush used in a brush-on method for artificial denture treatment. The cleaner does not dissolve an adhesive applied on the fixed part of the brush bristles to the handle of the brush and, therefore, the trouble in entirely dropping out a bundle of bristles from the brush can be eliminated, which results in obviating a wastage of the brush.
