PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner, which is capable of restraining the generation of condensation in the cross flow fan side of a nose at a low cost. SOLUTION: An indoor unit 10 for an air conditioner is provided with a casing 1 and a heat exchanger 2, received in the casing 1. A cross flow fan 3, sending cold air, generated by the heat exchanger 2, into a room, is arranged near the heat exchanger 2. A nose 4 is provided near the cross flow fan 3. A rib 5 is provided at the reverse side of the nose 4 to the cross flow fan 3 so that the cold air, generated by the heat exchanger 2, will not be contacted directly with the nose 4. A projected part 6, formed so as to have a semi- spherical configuration, is provided near the tip end of the nose 4. |
